Polish startup becomes its own client by publishing a magazine for mobile publishers
The Digital Publishing Guide is a free digital magazine, which is available quarterly as a mobile app. The magazine will feature optimization techniques for online app stores and share information about digital publishing and app marketing.
“We are a startup and we have created an easy-to-use digital publishing system. We see PressPad as going where Adobe is too corporate to go and other competitors too complicated.” – Paul Nowak, PressPad CEO.
He pointed out that this young company had a unique business model. It was operating in a relatively new market where the technology was still being developed and standards were still being crystallized. For PressPad being able to become its own client was very important in delivering a better product and helping publishers to monetize more efficiently.
“We want the Digital Publishing Guide to be a model digital publication. It will help publishers all over the world to achieve even better business results by using the good practices presented,” Nowak continued.
The magazine was published quietly on Friday, November 29, and ran under the radar for a few days. At that time PressPad – following its test-driven philosophy – had tested several app-marketing ideas, which will help publishers to understand digital distribution techniques.
